This Spring I had the privilege of coordinating a formal wedding at The Venue at Birchwood in Spring Hill, TN. It was a beautiful day that ended with a stellar sunset. Kourtney and Mark selected my version of "Day-Of Coordination" which I call Wedding Management. We started wrapping up wedding details 2 months before the wedding. It was wonderful to learn all the details they had planned for their wedding day.
The couple utilized the venue's spacious bridal suite and groom's room for a relaxing "getting ready" experience. With everyone on site with entire day it was easy to get pre-ceremony photos.
The couple did opt for a first look which was completely heart melting. The joy on their faces was unmistakable.
The ceremony was in the Chapel space. Decor was kept simple and elegant with ivy and roses hanging from the pews, a large arbor floral installation and 2 large urn arrangements behind the wedding party. Kourtney and Mark had a traditional ceremony with private communion.
Cocktail hour was outside in the courtyard space. Guests were able to enjoy lawn games, drinks, and passed appetizers.
The main reception was inside the barn. I absolutely loved their high and low centerpieces. It truly elevated the space. After wedding party introductions, the first dance, welcome speech, and blessing the plated dinner was served. After dinner, the toasts, cake cutting and additional formal dances commenced before the dance floor was open. The rest of the evening Kourtney and Mark enjoyed spending time with their guests dancing and chatting. The evening ended with a sparkler sendoff.
It was an honor to be a part of Kourtney and Mark's wedding celebration; congratulations to this lovely couple!
