Fall Wedding at Clementine Hall | Nashville TN

This year I had the pleasure of leading the sweetest couple (Kelsey & Matt) through the entire wedding planning process. Their plans culminated in a beautiful Fall themed wedding at Clementine Hall in Nashville, Tennessee. One of my favorite things about my full wedding planning clients is I get a heavier hand in making their overall vision a reality. I get to present ideas that fit with their theme and use my experience to explain what works and doesn't work. I love helping make their dreams a reality.

In the case of this couple, they were looking for a classy, elegant wedding with hints of Halloween. Their colors were burgundy, and orange accented with black. To achieve their nods to Halloween they had a black cauldron card basket, black candles, "till death" cake topper, and "pick your poison" bar menu sign. The result was a very classy affair with just the right amount of Halloween vibes mixed in without being cheesy.

My favorite aspect to this wedding day was the ceremony. Kelsey and Matt chose to have a small intimate ceremony with only immediate family in attendance. The wedding ceremony was so sweet, you could feel the love in the room. I loved the simplicity of no wedding party and the sacred moment only being witnessed by those closest to the couple. At the conclusion of the ceremony the couple shared a toast with their family members.

Kelsey and Matt's wedding has to be one of the most relaxed wedding days I have planned. With no wedding party, photos were a breeze and the couple had plenty of time to relax and enjoy each other's company before the remainder of their guests arrived for the reception. Once guests began to arrive, it did not take long for the party to get started. After a lovely dinner, first dances, and toasts, the night was a mix of dancing and socializing (just as Kelsey and Matt envisioned). With no formal sendoff the night ended as the day began relaxed and full of love.

It was truly an honor to be part of Kelsey and Matt's wedding. When they hired me to be their planner their overall vision was clear: a unique intimate ceremony with a large party style reception. I am glad to say we hit it on the nose.
