Easter Wedding at Cannonsburgh Village | Murfreesboro, TN

Updated: Dec 20, 2022

This Easter I had the privilege to coordinate a beautiful spring wedding at Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, TN. It was a sweet intimate occasion for a lovely couple. Planning with Arden and Matt was such a pleasure. They were wanting a stress free, and fun day with family and friends and definitely delivered. Their wedding took place in the beautiful historic chapel on site and their reception was at the Lion’s Club located right outside the village. In keeping with the holiday, their colors were deep purple, pink, and yellow.

The chapel features beautiful stained-glass windows. To highlight the chapel’s beauty, décor was kept minimal and featured two beautiful standing arrangements by the altar, Easter lilies down the aisle, and candles. The ceremony was filled with personal touches as the couple read their own vows to each other and did a handfasting ceremony with a cord that was woven by Arden herself. After the ceremony as Arden and Matt headed off for photos with family; guests were invited to cocktail hour at the Lion’s Club building.

The reception space was quaint. The arrangements used at the altar doubled as a backdrop for Arden and Matt’s sweetheart table. Upon being introduced into the reception Arden and Matt shared their first dance, and then the meal was served. The reception was filled with love and fun as guests toasted the couple, played limbo, and simply enjoyed each other’s company. At the end of the reception guests sent the newlyweds off with wedding bells and birdseed.

I loved working with Arden and Matt, they knew what their day was truly about, and you can see the deep love between them. I wish them a lifetime of happiness.
